FLOATING FOAM FENDERS

Here it is. An alternative to rubber fender. Floating foam fenders is an option for larger vessels to use between ship-to-ship or ship-to-quay.

FLOATING FOAM FENDERS

A floating foam fender is a cylinder-shaped fender with an outside consisting of polyurea and a core made of foam. Floating foam fenders are typically used on trawlers, oil tankers and container vessels.

On larger vessel it is often not a possibility to install permanent rubber fenders. This is due to the potential weight of rubber fenders and also due to the wear and tear of the waves far out at sea.

Instead of having rubber fenders mounted on the side of the vessel permanently, floating foam fenders are thrown from the vessel before the boat landing in order to protect both ship and dock.

Our floating foam fenders comes with different mounting options. Either a metal clasp or a drawstring. Furthermore, we produce our foam fenders in a wide range of sizes all depending on your wishes and needs.
